About the Masterclass

The Masterclass offers a practical and organic approach to Vocal Balance Brilla-Paglinâ„ . It focuses on guiding singers to their own natural balance and vocal freedom. The objective of Vocal Balance is to allow singers to discover the true nature of their voices and to be themselves, to gain freedom and naturalness of face and body, and to achieve spontaneity of expression and true, simple communication in the interpretation of repertoire of all styles and eras.

The collaboration between Marianna Brilla, Lisa Paglin, Raquel Andueza and Michele Pirani is a rare opportunity to see and experience the principles of Vocal Balance applied to a variety of repertoire and in different settings.

The Masterclass is open to professional singers and to advanced and post graduate singing students from universities, music colleges, conservatories and schools.

Singers are free to choose whatever repertoire they wish to study, which may include, but is not limited to, pieces from the Baroque period.

Thanks to the DIDONE Project, each singer will also have the very unique opportunity to study and perform a piece of music (chosen on the basis of each singer’s vocal characteristics) that may not have been heard by anyone for the last 200 years!
